Another assesment of change can be described by the well know phrase "No pain No gain". Frequently when someone tells me that they are going through many changes, I wil ask what is the level of pain the organization is reporting. If there are no out cries of pain than there is not much being gained. Change management is a challenge that frequently is endorsed in the form that "it is needed for everyone except me".
