Welcome to my blog.

Currently I am a medical librarian in New York City. I received my MSLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and spent two years in Washington D.C. as an NLM Associate Fellow. (an experience I highly recommend for any new medical librarians).

My primary interests are information and knowledge management and management theory, informatics, issues of copyright and intellectual property rights, scholarly communication, health policy and access to health care, and medical education. I am also very interested in new technology.

My blog is primarily about these interests (which are admittedly broad), but my posts will also stray to other things I find interesting.
While this is not a political blog, I did live in Washington D.C., so I might slip now and again.
