Posting again

It's been over a year since I posted anything, and I am hoping to start again.  My life has changed completely since then - including a new city and a new job.  I am living in New York City and working at Mount Sinai Medical Center.  Since leaving D.C., I don't have such close ties to the current politics, but i have certainly not lost interest.  I have a feeling many of my posts may be more about information than politics, but only time will tell.

I have a year 5/6 class in Rome. Challenging kids, 100% non-English speaking background, lots of fights, little interest in learning and I love every minute!
